Booking Summary
Please read before scheduling your first lesson.
Booking & Changes
All lessons must be booked and rescheduled through the studio website:
Reschedules can also be done through the booking confirmation email.
Cancellations & Reschedules
Minimum 24 hours notice is required to reschedule or cancel without charge
Late cancellations (within 24 hours) will forfeit the lesson fee
No-shows are non-refundable
It is the responsibility of the student (or account holder) to rebook missed lessons via the booking confirmation email or created account.
Lesson Types & Terms
Initial Lesson
Rescheduling Rules: Reschedule 24 hours prior to lesson time; can only be rescheduled once before being charged the full rate.
Expiry/Terms: One-time session
Casual/Single Lesson
Rescheduling Rules: Reschedule 24 hours prior to lesson time
Expiry/Terms: Must be used within 60 days
5 Lesson Package
Rescheduling Rules: Reschedule 24 hours prior to lesson time
Expiry/Terms: Valid for 10 weeks from purchase
10 Lesson Package
Rescheduling Rules: Reschedule 24 hours prior to lesson time
Expiry/Terms: Valid for 20 weeks from purchase
Unused lessons after the expiry will be forfeited unless prior agreement has been made for extenuating circumstances (eg. extended illness).
1. Lesson Scheduling
1.1 All lessons must be purchased, scheduled, rescheduled, or cancelled through www.signaturevocalstudio.com/bookings
1.2 To secure a regular weekly lesson time, purchase a package and book your lessons through the email confirmation link or created account. If you wish to change your time, please do so via your booking confirmation email or created account. Any queries about scheduling can be emailed to emily@signaturevocalstudio.com
2. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
2.1 A minimum of 24 hours for lesson rescheduling is required. Lesson cancellations requested via email or other communication method within 24 hours notice will not be accepted and the lesson fee will be forfeited.
2.2 All reschedules must be made through the booking system, which can be accessed through your account, or the lesson confirmation email.
2.3 It is the responsibility of the student (or account holder) to reschedule the missed lesson through the booking system prior to the 24 hour notice cutoff time.
2.4 For Casual/Single lessons: lessons must be rescheduled and used within 60 days of the original lesson.
2.5 For 5 and 10 Lesson Packages: lessons must rescheduled used within the 10 (5 lessons) and 20 (10 lessons) weeks since the date of purchase.
2.6 No-shows (failure to attend) are non-refundable and not eligible for reschedule.
2.7 If the teacher must cancel for any reason, the lesson will be rescheduled or credited to your account.
3. Health & Safety Guidelines
3.1 Students displaying symptoms of illness should not attend lessons. If a student arrives visibly unwell, the lesson will be cancelled.
3.2 Zoom lessons are available as an alternative if requested in advance. There will be no changes to the lesson fee.
4. Rate Increases
4.1 Rates are set on the recommended minimum rates from the Victorian Music Teachers Association (VMTA), and are subject to an annual review. Please see the VMTA website for further information on recommended rates:

4.2 Rates are displayed when booking for lessons on the bookings page.
4.3 Rate increases will occur at the start of each calendar year.
